Hammerack Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Hammerack Hotel! A special thanks to Oana at reception, who was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. Always smiling, she made us feel truly welcome. She arranged e-bike rentals for us and suggested a scenic route with stunning views – one of the highlights of our trip! The spa and overall design of the hotel are both elegant and modern, making it a relaxing and beautiful place to unwind. It really feels like a hidden pearl tucked in the hills. We also tried the tasting menu at the restaurant. While the presentation was lovely, we felt that some dishes could have been more flavorful – there’s room to enhance the taste experience to match the style. One area that could use improvement is the bistro service. It was noticeably slower, and we had to make ourselves known before staff came to take our order. A bit more attentiveness would make a big difference. Overall, we highly recommend Hammerack for a stylish and peaceful escape – with a few small tweaks, it could be perfect.

Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was an extraordinary experience, with exquisite flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The bistro served up cocktails that exceeded all expectations, making for a delightful evening. The highlight, however, was the spa. It was an oasis of tranquility, offering rejuvenating treatments that left me feeling completely refreshed. The relaxation area was the ideal spot to unwind in peace. Overall, our weekend at Hammerack Hotel & Spa was revitalizing, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a serene escape. I can't wait to return!

We were very excited because of the good reviews. The architecture of the hotel, the art in the hotel and the rooms are definitely worth a visit. Food average to good (duck was tough). Very negative: the reception (receptionist or manager?) was not friendly, arrogant and unsupportive. Very inflexible, slightly lecturing. A negative aftertaste remains, unfortunately.
