Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room and bathroom were huge and we loved our private balcony. The tiny kitchenette area was great: a few dishes and silverware, the option to cook on a small stove, etc. The pools were fun and it was nice to have the option to use the indoor pool when the thunderstorms rolled in every afternoon. (Indoor pool was pretty cold, and it’s not well lit, but our kids still had a blast). - It was a fairly easy walk to the beach and they have a little cart with guys handing out towels. We found most of the staff to be pleasant and helpful. - Areas for improvement would be more timely room cleaning, and the phones in the room have shortcuts to the front desk/concierge but the buttons don’t work.

My family stayed here for a week for the first time and had a wonderful experience! A lot of reviews mention old and outdated rooms but we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa in building 35 that was lovely - updated and very well maintained. The resort grounds were beautiful, the pools were a blast, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The beach was not crowded and the sunsets at night were to die for. There is a Publix right down the road that came in handy many times as well! If I had one minor gripe, it would be the on-site food and drink prices, they were quite steep, and the restaurants themselves weren’t particularly memorable. That being said, there are some local restaurants nearby that have great food for 1/2 the cost if you don’t mind a 5-10 minute drive. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely come back!

We stayed at the lodge, but used all the amenities at hammock Beach, including the golf course, ocean course was impeccable. My kids loved the lazy river. Service staff was great at all the locations. And lots of restaurant options on site plus an arcade my kids love that too. You could come stay here with your family and let your kids roam the place and feel safe. Beach access was good too cabana, umbrellas, and chairs available. Great for families or a golf getaway.
