I have stayed at several properties around the world, but this one truly stands out for its unique charm and natural beauty. Our booking was last-minute, so we had to split our stay—checked in on Friday, checked out Saturday, and returned on Sunday. And honestly, the two days we spent here felt like a dream—and I’m not an easy person to impress! The resort is all about being close to nature, so expect to roam around freely (just watch out for the mischievous monkeys!). There’s even a beautiful natural stone pool. I stayed in two different standard rooms, and both were wonderful—one of them right by the riverside, which was simply serene. But the real highlight was the service. Abhilash at the reception and Krishna deserve a special mention. Their hospitality felt personal and heartfelt, something you rarely experience these days. Krishna, in particular, went above and beyond—he took us to the sunset point inside the resort not once, but twice, even in the rain. The route isn’t easy—you literally cross a cave and climb over boulders—but he guided us patiently with a big smile. The food is good, though the options are limited. However, the chef makes sure every dish is delicious. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to experience during the rains—peaceful, natural, and with service that truly makes you feel pampered.
Wonderful stay, well thought and planned resort, they have designed the resort to work along with the nature, the lake is nearby and has good vibes. Good for families. They have treks as part of the packages as well. However they do not have wifi or TV in the rooms. Further network is also not available in certain areas. So keep that in mind.
The view from Croc Cottage is exceptional, with the river flowing right outside. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the natural pool is a definite highlight of the resort. Do watch out for monkeys around the property. Evening walks were lovely, we spotted crocodiles and several birds. The food, however, is an area that needs improvement. The quality could be better, especially in the breakfast. If you're particular about food, you might want to explore nearby options. The main town is about an hour's drive from the resort. It’s best to have your own transport for convenience. Overall, I’d recommend this place for its stunning location, peaceful vibe and hospitality.
