Hampshire Hotel Delft Centre

Hello, I wanted to take a moment and thank your Hotel and your bar server (didn't get his name) who were so gracious to my wife and I on June 14th. We were on a tour and got separated from our group and missed our bus. We made it back to your lobby and scrambled to figure out what to do next. Your bar server was very nice and accommodating and gave us excellent advice and encouragement about how to get to the train station and back to Amsterdam. He even called us a taxi (who also ended up being a lovely person). We made it back on the train and ultimately had a terrific rest of our vacation. It was an adventure! Anyway, we are back home in Florida USA and I wanted to pass along my thanks and warmest regards to the gentleman who helped us out. Thanks again, Ross and Cyndy Bond

Absolutely ace, really clean and staff very friendly, everything needed is 2 mins walking distance, great moat around the place too, will definatly stop again

During our 4-night stay at this hotel, while attending a conference in Delft, we experienced a mix of positive and negative aspects. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff, particularly a helpful, friendly, charming young man, provided plenty of useful information. The room itself was clean, offering a good view of the surroundings. Located on the outskirts of town, the hotel was approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the town plaza, which was manageable. The room was spacious and comfortable for two guests. However, our experience soured during check-out. Despite notifying the reception in advance about our slight delay, the male staff member handling our check-out proceeded to charge us extra without hesitation. This abruptness left us feeling disheartened and disappointed. As individuals who frequently select hotels for conferences, this lack of flexibility in the fine imposition was unwelcoming to travellers. Additionally, the hotel was popular among tour groups, with numerous coach buses transporting and ferrying these travellers to and from the location. While the hotel appeared to be a hot spot for group tours, private and business travellers were not as prevalent during our stay.
