Hampton by Hilton Bolu

We had an amazing stay at Hampton by Hilton Bolu. Necip Bey’s warm hospitality and the kindness of all the staff made us feel right at home. Clean, comfortable rooms, a tasty hotel breakfast, and a perfect location near shops, tourist attractions like Gölcük, and plenty of delicious local food spots in Bolu. Highly recommended!

Stayed 1 night, had dinner and breakfast here. The room was nice and clean, but a bit small. The bathroom was spotless. The roasted chicken for dinner was nice. The breakfast was local food buffet. I love the variety, 6 types of cheeses, 8 types of olives, 8 types of jams for the bread. And the bread itself was good. Too bad, the sausage was not good. This kind of breakfast might be a problem for those who look for intercontinental breakfast, which is expected to be available in a 4 star hotel. A note regarding the AC, it's centralized control, so I can't change the temperature. And, it's too warm for my taste. But, I could open the window and it made my room become nice and cool 😁👍 Overall, nice hotel, recommended.

We booked two rooms, one was double bed and another one was twin beds with extra bed. Rooms were nice, modern and quite new, amenities were also complete. Location was pretty good, several eateries around, there is a supermarket a few blocks away. Cons: Standard room is very small, a bit hard to move around if you have two big luggage. The double bed was super small, like maybe 140 cm x 200cm. I'm small stature, and my husband is big, we were struggling with space. Can't imagine if two big persons have to share bed that size. Extra bed for my kids room was thin and springy, like you would find in a student dorm, not a four star Hilton hotel. Carpet was dirty, lots of hair stuck on my hotel slippers. Some hair strands were also clogged up the shower drain. I stayed 9 nights in Turkey, changing into four hotels, and three of them have carpet like this, like it wasn't properly or frequently be vacuumed, it's annoying.
