The rooms at Hampton by Hilton, Istanbul are good and comfortable, and the location is decent—convenient enough for most travelers. However, I had a rather disappointing experience with the reception staff during my recent stay. After a long day of travel (including a sleepless overnight layover in Bahrain), my colleague from Germany and I checked in and settled into our rooms, hoping to finally get some rest. Unfortunately, around 10:30 pm, the reception called and insisted that we come down immediately to settle a payment issue, which was actually due to their own calculation error during check-in. Despite explaining that we were exhausted and already in bed, the staff were persistent and would not allow us to postpone the payment until the next morning. It was quite surprising and uncomfortable, especially coming from a reputed hotel chain like Hilton. This incident really affected our overall experience and I hope the management looks into improving their guest service in such situations. Overall, while the hotel itself is fine, I would expect better hospitality and flexibility from Hilton staff, especially when guests are clearly tired after long journeys.
Great to stay if needed to travel to SAW airport on early morning. Surrounded with a lot of restaurants a d maybe this is the reason the hotel only serve breakfast. Overall are good. Service are delighted, especially Enes, check out for me and served me a coffee as he know I will stay in the lobby for half an hour before I will book a taxi
My daughter and I stayed at Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Kurtkoy and we both slept in the same bed. The next day, we woke up covered in red, itchy bites, consistent with bedbug bites. We immediately reported this to the front desk, showed photos, and expressed our concerns — yet nothing was done. No room inspection, no alternative room offered, no follow-up, and no apology. To make matters worse, the staff was completely uninterested and unhelpful. They showed no care or urgency at all. The hotel charges €50 per person to use the pool, which is outrageous. The breakfast was extremely poor, lacking both quality and variety — absolutely not up to Hilton standards. I have stayed in many Hilton hotels before and have always trusted the brand. But I have never experienced anything like this. This was a shocking and deeply disappointing stay. This level of neglect and indifference is unacceptable, especially from a Hilton-branded hotel. Hygiene, hospitality, and guest safety should be a priority. Sadly, we received no support, no accountability, and no solution. I strongly advise against staying here unless the management makes serious improvements.
