Hampton Inn & Suites Saint John

Hotel was clean, had good views since it's located on top of a hill, it has a lot of parking, and had friendly staff. Breakfast was included in our stay. Pretty good I have to say. Definitely worth every penny. I need to add. There is a Costco within walking distance so if you are doing a road trip and need to restock. Perfect location.

The room and TV was dated but the hotel was nice. The breakfast was great (although seating is limited if you get there during prime time). They have coloring sheets and crayons for kids which was a nice extra. The waterslide was so fun, although a little intense for small kids. It really spins and is pitch black in the inside. For older kids or adults it is a blast though. We had the pool to our selves both times we used it and even with young kids the pool was great. It is really shallow which worked out well. The hotel was clean and the staff could not have been friendlier.

I have been to this hotel previously for my anniversary with my husband and thought it would be a great place to bring my three children for their birthdays but was told I would need to book two rooms since they do not allow more than four guest to a room, when I have had many friends and peers say that they have brought more than two children and were told no problem. I called both the Saint John and Moncton locations only to have the desk staff not seem interested at all in accommodating us or give us any information on hotels that would. Fortunately the Crown Plaza Uptown was more than helpful for our birthday celebrations.
