Hana no kumo

Authentic onsen experience you can enjoy in Japan. Despite the language barrier and remoteness of the location, their staff are welcoming and warm, food is excellent and fresh, definitely love it.

This was my second time staying here in a year. First of all, the staff who greeted me and the landlady's heartfelt welcome were very pleasant. The food was different from last time, and everything was delicious, but the chawanmushi and kinme shabu-shabu were especially good. They also had a wide selection of local sake and beer, and I wanted to try them all, but I only managed to get three cups lol. The staff were also very friendly during the meal. The speed at which the food and drinks were served was also good. The room was clean and comfortable. The private bath with a view of the sea was also great. The amenities also had a very nice scent, which was nice. The next morning I enjoyed the rock bath in my room. Unfortunately it was raining, but I was able to spend the morning leisurely, listening to the calls of the warblers and wild birds coming from the bamboo forest next door and watching the ships floating in the distance. I would like to stay here again next year.

I stay at this hotel every year. This year, I stayed in the "Sakura" room on August 14th. The hotel is very clean, and many of the dishes and drinks are from Shizuoka and Izu, so you can really feel the love for the local area. Every dish is delicious and goes well with alcohol. The friendly personality of the landlady is also one of the charms of this hotel.
