This is a guest room with a bath in the annex of Dankoen. The view of the courtyard is beautiful and soothing. The hot spring bath was also very comfortable. There seemed to be only 4 separate rooms in total, so it was nice to have a sense of privacy, but the room I stayed in this time was the only one in the building that was connected to the next room, so I could hear the conversation of the family next door, which was a bit bothersome. We went out to eat dinner and had a buffet breakfast at the main building. It was nice to be able to pick up and drop off at the main building. The staff were all very responsive and made my stay comfortable.
The bathroom inside the annex also has hot spring water. There seems to be an abundance of hot water, and it is running continuously. The garden was also well maintained.
I stayed there a while ago. The indoor bath in the guest room is large and the quality of the water is good. The rooms are clean and looking at the well-maintained garden is soothing. However, a fatal negative point is that the villa we stayed at was divided into two parts and housed two groups, rather than each group using one separate building. Naturally, it was locked, but the room was built so that people could come and go through the hallway door near the porch (connecting room), and the walls were thin, so I could hear the guests next door talking. There were two women next to me, and although they weren't talking loudly, I could hear their conversation if I listened carefully. No privacy. After I realized this, I always spoke in a quiet voice when having conversations in my room. Needless to say, it is not relaxing. Also, I had to eat at the dining room of the affiliated hotel, along with other hotel guests. There is a car to take you from the villa to the hotel, but it's still a hassle to get around, and the quality of the hotel is quite low compared to the villa (aside from the fatal sound leakage), so I felt like I was suddenly brought back to reality and was completely disappointed. To be honest, the food is quite poor considering the price. This may be due to the atmosphere of the restaurant, which resembles a popular restaurant in a local department store in the Showa era. If you're expecting something private or special, you'll be deeply disappointed. Although the atmosphere of the hot springs and villa is very nice, it is really a waste. I don't recommend it.
