HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE! Absolutely stunning winery with the vineyards spreading over the hills. When we arrived we were greeted by the in-house dogs who sniffed our little pup with curiosity. Loved how dog friendly it was. Our wine tasting was super fun with ‘Uncle Ken’ as our host. He was funny, knowledgeable and from the short time we got to know him, he seemed kind and super genuine. With the $10 each, we tasted 12 wines plus an extra wine that was not on the list. We bought 3 wine bottles and even got our wine tasting fee of $10 each waived. We left Hanging Tree Wines feeling valued and grateful we stumbled upon this winery. Ken left a very memorable impression and made this visit a highlight of our trip so thank you Ken! Will recommend Hanging Tree Wines to our friends who visits the Hunter Valley in the future.

A Hidden Gem – Exceptional Wine, Vibes & Hospitality I’m not usually a fan of white wine, but Ken completely changed my perspective! He was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, warm, and made the whole wine tasting experience memorable. Everything was top-notch: the wine, the peaceful and scenic environment, the lovely dogs roaming around, and the beautiful gardens. The cheese platter was easily one of the best we had in the area rich in flavor and perfectly paired with the wines. This spot is a true hidden gem in Pokolbin, tucked away in a quiet, relaxing setting. Highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful winery, amazing staff Ken, he is awesome, great sense of humour and was so good in telling us about the history of their wines. Tasted one of the best wines here. You need to make a booking first which makes the wine experience so exclusive. Loved their wines especially sparkling Chiraz and Moscato and their cheese platter. Very friendly place and their dogs were so well behaved, cuddled them and they loved it. Will be visiting again and recommend it to my fellow friends too.
