Hangzhou Hongfei Hotel

Don't stay here. Overpriced. I stayed at 8 hotels on this trip in China, this was the worst by far. There are hotels half the price in the same city that are much better. Here's a list of issues: - Gym is tiny and unusable, 1 weights machine that squeeks and is in poor maintenance, not safe. Treadmill unstable. Aircon broken. - Recreation rooms (all of them) have been converted into stale smelling storage rooms, all facilities advertised are non-existent. - Lift to recreation floor broken, take the fire stairs. - Door man can be rude. - First thing that greets you when you enter the room is, here are some overpriced food and drink and water on the table. Other hotels don't even charge anymore. - Working desk for laptop doesn't have a powerpoint - No powerpoint in living area - A single powerpoint next to the bed, good luck if you have 2 people. - Carpet looks old - No heating options available, aircon only goes cold. - Doorman terrible at directions, points me wrong way. - Cannot print an invoice or any paperwork when taking your deposit (every hotel I've stayed at in China can at least provide me with proof I have paid). - Service staff have no idea how to operate aircon, figure it out yourself. - Most expensive laundry of all 8 hotels I stayed in China. Extra +15% service fee, why? then when you go pay an extra +1.5% transaction fee. - Immediately called me down at 10pm to come pay laundry, could they really not wait till check-out next morning? Feels very stingy. - Bathtub available but provides nothing for it. - Hands you 2 toothbrushes on entry, feels like you are being rationed. Every other hotel replenished unlimited.
