Lovely hotel out in the mountains! The hotel is combined with a farming operation, and the owner-operators have been part of the enterprise for at least three generations. The food is excellent and much of it is produced on site (including baking and distilling), the staff are very warm and friendly and helpful, and the location has many multifunctional areas. Outdoors are various grilling areas and a pond and water wheel, with plenty of space to sit outdoors and enjoy nature. If you want to go hiking, your hosts can give you the benefit of all their decades of local knowledge, and guide you to some breathtakingly lovely locations in the mountains around the valley. Superb place to stay while exploring the area!
