In the Hanwa Resort, me and my family stayed at Le Ciel. Le Ciel is very expensive and we paid 700 dollars every night and we stayed for 3 nights. That is 2100 dollars in total for this trip. For that price, I would expect an amazing experience, however that was not the case. I gave this hotel 2 stars considering the price, if it was any other hotel it may have been 3 stars at best. The food was okay. Literally nothing special and it is just your ordinary Korean food you can get off the street. It tastes just fine. 6.5/10 for the food. The customer service is where it really suffers. We simply asked for more towels because we had run out of clean ones. It took them an entire day to get us the towels. None of us could shower that day. We had to call them up several times requesting clean towels and they kept saying that they would bring them and never would. Until they gave us the towels the next day with no explanation. 3/10 customer service Now this next one really upsets me. When you come to this hotel the main attractions that you would want to visit during your time here would be the infinity pool and gym. The infinity pool is for 18+ and the gym is for 16+ what the actual hell is that. you cant use the infinity pool unless youre 18? Like I said I came here with my family and the kids couldnt even use the damn pool and most other families will also come here with kids. I cant even think of a valid reason for making the pool 18+ its just stupid. And get this, the rooms are mediocre too. Horrible experience for way too much money.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the resort’s overall management and operations were a mess. You have to wait in line for everything — check-in, the pool, even breakfast. When we arrived, my family (along with hundreds of other guests) had to wait over an hour just to check in. There were no self-check-in kiosks, and only a couple of staff at the front desk. It felt like either they were completely understaffed or the whole system was just outdated. Breakfast was just as bad. You’re required to line up and get checked in manually — they use handwritten reservation lists and let people in one by one. My breakfast was scheduled for 11:30 AM, and even though I got in line 10 minutes early, I wasn’t seated until 11:42 because they were slowly checking names off a paper list with only one staff member handling the process. It’s shocking that a resort run by one of the country’s biggest conglomerates is still operating this inefficiently. The whole experience felt frustrating and unnecessarily outdated. I am not coming back.
