On our travels around the Loire Valley, we have come across this wonderful Château converted into a hotel. Fortunately for us, the gardens and pool are undergoing maintenance and we were able to have a stroll around the premises (normally it is not open to the public and is for use of the guests only). We would like to say “Merci Beaucoup”, for having the opportunity to visit, we will definitely return but for a stay there!!! The surroundings are peaceful and spectacular. Beautiful place to stay. The extra costs (aside from the hapimag points) are quite high (>€400 for 3 nights). Also, there is not a whole lot to do in the area. If the weather is good, you can take a 30 min drive to Lac d’Eguzon, which is great for swimming or watersports (picture). Our room in the castle was spacious and well decorated. Good breakfast in a classic dining room of the castle.
