Happy Light

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and we had a great time. The hotel is located in the tourist center, so everything is within walking distance. The sea is across the road, the night market is next to the theater and many cafes around the hotel. In the morning you can have a good breakfast at the hotel. The menu is varied and tasty. The rooms are cleaned daily, nothing is stolen, nothing is missing. The rooms are cozy and clean. On the roof there is a swimming pool and a beautiful view of the sea

- This is relatively cheap but I would consider other hotels at the same price range. - Frequent issues with multiple hotel room cards. One of ours wouldn't keep the power on past 10 minutes until it was replaced and frequently failed to register on the doors. + Helpful/flexible staff who dealt with problems quickly - Multiple fusebox switches for the room were flipped down when we first got in - They rarely turned the AC on in the lobby and there was no AC in the hallways and lifts - Lifts smelt atrocious, even the scent packets wouldn't help - Breakfast wasn't good, the fresh noodle bowls were good but otherwise many of the dishes were low quality and also may not suit Western tastes. + Good food and mini marts nearby + Easy for drivers to find

This hotel was worn and misleading. Do not let the pictures deceive you! The list of how horrible the hotel was is too long, so I’ll write it up in form of a bullet list. Hotel room - Old and worn room instead of the luxury that was advertised - Wallpaper was peeling - Furniture had suspicious uncleaned surfaces, making a brown stain on paper when attempted to wipe - Stained curtains - Room had an odd scent that I can only describe as an old dusty attic. - Tv did not work, consisted of static sounds whilst the picture was completely fine. Other rooms had the same problem. - The shower dripped water onto you instead of spraying, barely cleaned you up - Broken off handheld shower head that was just left in the shower??? (Only removed. Not fixed, after we contacted room service) - Water turning off mid shower entirely, that never got solved, I still have no clue why it did that - Water permanently stuck on hot no matter how much you turned it - Attempting to turn water more to the cold setting would stop it entirely - The drain not emptying the shower correctly which lead to a flood in the bathroom - No soap to wash your hands with, we resorted to using shampoo as soap - Disgusting tasting toothpaste, don’t use it! - Extremely cramped bathroom, I could practically use the toilet and wash my hands at the same time - Mini fridge was dusty and uncleared with clear dirty surface that no one wanted to touch Hotel lobby - The public bathrooms had soap but it was a small soap holder with barely any left in it - One of the toilets was stuck, water sprayed out of it which was disgusting - No staff was attempting to fix it - No toilet paper in the toilet that worked, the broken toilet had paper but due to the toilet spraying out water, it was all soaked Hotel Breakfast - Food area had cold tasteless food - Tables and chairs were dirty and disgusting to use - Chopsticks had small specs of food left, not having been washed properly - Needed to wipe down all the utensils with tissue paper before use, that’s how unclean they felt This hotel is NOT 3,5 stars! There are better hotels in Nha Trang for the same price. This place can barely be called a hotel, you can’t even shower properly!
