Harborside Resort at Atlantis

We’re a family of four who recently stayed at Harborside Resort on Paradise Island for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better home base during our trip to the Bahamas! Harborside offered a much-needed laid-back vibe that was perfect after full, exciting days spent at the nearby Atlantis Resort. While Atlantis is just a short walk away (great for access to all the fun and activities), it was such a relief to return to the calm, quieter environment of Harborside where our kids could truly relax and recharge. The location was also incredibly convenient, within walking distance to major hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores, which made getting around and grabbing essentials very easy. Even better, the resort provides a shuttle service to other hotels and attractions on Paradise Island, which made exploring the area even more hassle-free. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen in our room, which helped us prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our family without needing to eat out all the time. The room itself was clean and spacious, and we were lucky to enjoy an ocean view right from our balcony, a beautiful way to start and end each day. One of our favorite parts was the pool area, quiet, well-maintained, and never crowded. It felt very private and perfect for some low-key family time. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Harborside was such an important part of our positive experience in the Bahamas. In fact, our kids were so happy there that they had a hard time leaving and are still asking when we can go back! Highly recommend Harborside Resort for families looking for the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and relaxation.

Harborside is a great option for the price! The rooms are nicely renovated with new furniture and floors. The kitchen and bathrooms are older but spacious and refreshed. Harborside is perfect for large families because there is something for everyone. The views are beautiful and location is near all the restaurants at marina village. Supermarkets are walking distance! I prefer the large units at harborside over a standard hotel.

When checking in, asked if our room was an updated one; was told yes which wasn’t true. Rooms had mold in bathrooms and shower curtain. Rugs and floor dirty- all our feet were filthy. Coffee pot and Ice maker didn’t work. Majority of staff was border line friendly- barely made eye contact while speaking to you. A few went out of their way to help. Pool was great- relaxing and not crowded. Onsite restaurant food very good. Landscaping beautiful. One and done for us. They need a management change.
