Harbour View Motel

Great stay in Robe SA, nicely decorated room and all you need for a comfy night. Very welcoming (including cute dog) on arrival and offered several ideas for food / sightseeing. Highly recommend when visiting Robe.

Debated between 3/4 stars..IDK...the room was very small. Bathroom very small. Small sinknin the bathroom. No vanity space at all. Very little storage space. The bed was comfortable. Nice sheets, comforter, pillows. T.V. was decent. Small selection of channels. Microwave, fridge, water kettle. Cups, utensils..about everything you need. Easy access to walking trails, the boat harbor and to town if you are really energetic... Owners/ managers are very nice. Price was decent...just not a 5 star hotel. Sorry. But Robe is a great town. Enjoyed our stay.

Posting for Metta who stayed in March 2025. Everything worked except the door had a faulty lock and blew open twice despite the snib clicking in place. That was scary. Air conditioner kept reverting to heat and staff didn’t know how to fix it. Finally someone showed me what to press for cool air. It seems the family are still learning about the business. They were friendly and helped me when I needed. The motel is across the road from the Marina. Upper floor rooms would have a superb view. I found it was a good location for walking to the sights which was important as I don’t have a car. Room was spotless. Appliances all worked. Minimal crockery, cutlery for 2 and no utensils. One of the family kindly drove me to the intercity bus stop when I left. Communication between staff wasn’t great though. A huge ‘Thank you’ to Bronwyn and Tim. NB There are few footpaths in Robe on any of the streets, except along the sea, and the main street in front of the shops.
