No faults at all, the place is outstanding. It is central and convenient, opposite a lovely pub too. Checking in was seamless and everyone had been lovely. The room is clean with everything you can ask for. Breakfast was outstanding too, the best I've had from a hotel.
Friendly staff and prime location make up for tiny rooms and no elevator. This cute hotel is staffed by friendly, helpful people, and it was a delight to interact with them. The hotel's location in the heart of Bath makes it the perfect spot for a day or two of exploration. Don't miss Bath!! Our top floor room was tiny, which is to be expected in the English countryside, but wow was this small. We also had to haul our bags up a number of flights of steps, and certainly, we could have asked the hotel staff for help, but its a small place. They don't have extra bellmen standing around. And as for the breakfast, it was well prepared, delicious, and served with the same high level of staff courteousness. We would return without hesitation, ask for a bigger room, and enjoy another pleasant day in beautiful Bath.
This is merely a three-star motel, a far cry from a four-star establishment or a boutique hotel. Its rooms are cramped, furnished with dilapidated pieces, and lack air conditioning—though these shortcomings pale in comparison to its abhorrently racist service. We had reserved two rooms for a three-night stay, booking two months in advance, and explicitly requested quiet accommodations. Yet, we were assigned rooms not only facing the street but directly opposite a bustling nightclub. The first night was torturous, with the cacophony persisting until midnight. When we approached the front desk to request a change, Ethan informed us that a rear room would be available for the remaining two nights. However, later that day, an elderly staff member reneged on this promise, awarding the room to a Caucasian family seeking twin beds instead. What of our request? Our "solution" arrived in the form of a pair of flimsy green earplugs—apparently, this was deemed sufficient for Asian guests. Avoid this place at all costs. It is utterly devoid of value.
