You couldn't pick a better spot to put a hotel in Samarinda! Right on the river and next to the impressive bridge over the Mahakam River. You can swim in the pool and watch the many barges of coal go up and down the river. The mall is just a short walk down the street. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained; good water pressure; clean and comfy. The staff very friendly and responsive - we had to replace the TV remote and they were right on it. The highlight was the very tasty and complete breakfast. A wide selection of Indonesian, Asian (Dim Sum) and western dishes (eggs however you like) and good coffee. They even had traditional jamu drinks to try and staff very responsive and helpful.
The room was clean and comfy, and the staff were all super nice. I used the pool and gym a few times, both were well-maintained. The location’s great too. Overall, everything was smooth and I’d definitely come back!! :]
The Balcony room facing the Mahakam Bridge and Mahakam River is very nice... specially the view...
