My wife and I had not eaten here for a while and we were not disappointed. To start, I had freshly made soup and my wife had whipped goats cheese and pickled beetroot (sorry no photo). As a main my wife had pizza, which was very good and I had Fish Pie, off the special board. Both dishes were good. To drink, we both had low alcohol 1664 on draft. Very good. The service was good. Would I recommend, Definitely. If you like my comments please follow, as I give true and honest reviews.
A lovely family business. "Probably one of the most friendly places I've ever stayed, very helpful" said my Father in law! Food was lovely too with a great beer garden.
Would have given it 5 stars but the bed made my back hurt, but I'm extremely fussy with a mattress. The staff were brilliant, really friendly. The rooms were small but lovely. We had a gorgeous view. The breakfasts were lovely too, lots of choice. We had an evening meal. The menu had lots of choice and the desserts were gorgeous. All in all a lovely place to stay.
