Hartstone Inn

This is a beautiful Inn and excellent location to downtown Camden and the Harbor. When we arrived we were greeted by Meghan who was so kind and even escorted us to our suite! The accommodations were excellent, plenty of room and comfy bed! They offer three small dinning area's which all have that New England Charm. You start your day with a delicious breakfast and French press coffee. If you get a chance you should have dinner at the Inn, the service by Steve and staff is top notch! Chef Tom has some incredible talent! The restaurant is a hidden gem! We had the Dublin Lawyer Lobster (excellent) and a Filet! Save room for desert and if you like unique ice cream flavors they have them, we tried the Orange, cinnamon, chili ice cream, we were not disappointed! We enjoyed our stay and will be back! My husband and I have been going here once a year for the past seven years. We loved the previous owners and chef, and were curious about the new ownership and restaurant. We were not disappointed! We love getting a drink in the cozy little bar area after check-in. They offer a great wine list and wine/food pairing recommendations by the sommelier, Steve. Megan, who checked us in, was also very pleasant and hospitable. Our dinner was excellent - highly recommend the French onion soup. My husband's filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It's really nice having breakfast included each morning with the stay. We stayed in the Normandy suite, which we really enjoyed for the loft. The suite is attached to the main building but around the side so it is quiet but within steps of going to breakfast and dinner. Hartstone still has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Wonderful place to recharge and relax!

Wonderful accommodations in a fantastic setting. Our room exceeded expectations, and the dinner we had in the restaurant was really special — delicious food and wonderful service. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Camden!
