Haven Glebe

Booked 2 nights at the Haven Glebe. This hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment and our room was outstanding! Clean, lovely comfortable beds with its own balcony. The location is amazing, across the road from a variety of restaurants and cafes. There’s a well equipped local supermarket and a green grocers. The staff were delightful and very Helpful. There is Underground parking but we had no issues with parking on the street. Very quirky hotel and fabulous area. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in a large group at Haven Glebe Jack and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. The rooms were spotlessly clean, this was noticeably due to the staff and their constant hard work and attention to detail. The location couldn't have been better for us as we were heading away on a cruise from White Bay Wharf. But in close proximity to two pubs, a brilliant Thai restaurant that i have reviewed separately and a very popular Cafe straight across the road for that morning coffee. Thank you once again Jack and staff of Haven Glebe...we hope to see you soon

Rooms were clean and great location. But the noise of other guests, oh my God. The windows were really great sound blocking from outdoors but the same could not be said for the door. There were legit people yelling to eachother up and down the stairwell in the middle of the night, massive racket first thing in the morning as well. Could hear everything as though there wasn't even a door there. No sign of anyone to keep the rowdy guests in line either. Not very restful. Either better soundproof doors or staff to oversee the night time goings on would be a massive improvement.
