HC Hotel Magec

I well run hotel. Everything you need. Meals are good, plenty to eat. Hotel very clean, staff very lovely. Still here but love it. I guess a little more seafood would be good, but the food is good and fresh. Thank You.

Well here we go what a run down shell of a hotel 4 star no way 2 star at best even some of the residents were trying to scrape some stars off the sign. 5/7 days of the food was edible chose to go out for food at times after paying for all inclusive you can clearly tell that the Spanish do not want tourists so I will not be coming back especially to this shack of a hotel. The staff were very nice but clearly need a chef and a massive overhaul of a refurbishment. We had a cockroach that was dead in the room cleaners were not available to clean it up so the receptionist did the duty of removing it and after reporting this insect a couple behind me were waiting to report bed bugs to which they had bites all over them disgusting. I think the owner is on cloud 9 if he thinks that the rates he is charging are appropriate. We got an horrible sewage smell coming in to the bedroom more like FAULTY TOWERS not MAGEC honestly do not go to this hotel there are much much better hotels around. According to some locals I got talking to he owns the hotel across which fully deserves the 4 star.

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Paid for all inclusive and the meals were rubbish and not edible. The all inclusive is a waste of money as you only get a full board deal. Drinks are not served until after 11am that’s including soft drinks or tea/coffee. The pool bar snacks are not great and you have to pay for crisps as they are not part of the all exclusive. Honestly avoid this hotel as it’s just cheap and below basics. No kettle in your room either. I stayed 2 days of the 7 and left to return home as it was that bad. Staff are rude as well
