HD8 Hotel Milano

Room was very small. The room had no tea and coffee making facilities (we had to request them) the bathroom sink was actually in the bedroom and the shower and toilet were tiny. One of the coat hangers broke in my hand so the cleaners are clearly not checking things. My partner commented that the temper varied whilst talking a shower! (Not great) We paid €300 for this so we were not impressed. Avoid this hotel unless you like paying for design over quality.

HIGHLY AVOID!! The place is so dirty and smells like a public toilet. There are bugs everywhere. Although it claims that it’s a 4 star hotel, there are no toothbrush and toothpaste provided. The room layout is super bad. The shower is just next to the bed. I can see my roommate showering, which is no concern for privacy at all. The sink and shower floods easily. The water coming out from the shower keeps changing temperature alternately from hot to cold. The sound barrier is bad as we can hear the noise from outside.

Very disappointing this hotel does not deserve 4 stars it was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a major letdown. Although it advertises itself as a 4-star property, the experience was far from that. The breakfast was terrible – the same hard-boiled eggs were served for several days in a row, clearly old and with cracked shells. The tomatoes were spoiled and clearly past their prime. Another huge issue was the air conditioning – it barely worked. Most of the time it didn’t turn on at all, or if it did, it would shut off after a few minutes. We reported this to the staff multiple times, but nothing was done. They just kept saying someone would check it, but no action was taken. Many guests couldn’t sleep at night because of the heat. To make matters worse, the furniture in the rooms was in poor condition – the tables were made of metal and rusty, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. I do not recommend this place and definitely won’t be returning. The price is absolutely not justified by the quality.
