Huge shout out to Blake and the events team! I host team building events, and wet weather forced a Plan B in action at Headlands Hotel. Blake and his staff were extremely flexible and accommodating, changing a space for us quickly and making the space look fantastic. Super grateful and highly recommend working with these legends!

I normally dine in in here and last week we tried the new menu in airstream/food truck. and I personally ask the lady in the cashier if its possible for the chef to do the aurora sauce for my pasta. and it's quite impressive because basically it's not part of the choices but thanks to the chef for doing it and I didn't expect that he knows how to do it quickly. we finished eating the pasta so quick while waiting for the pizza we ordered gnocchi and squid ink pasta with mix seafood. I hope you let us order it again soon. or maybe we will request a different one again :) 9/10 - pasta sauce takeaway bowl - 7/10 price 8/10

Have regularly attended the Hotel in past and enjoyed great views, selection of seating, mediocre wine pricing and decent food. Went yesterday and something has changed. The food was very average - club standard at best with higher than club pricing. Fish and chips pretty ordinary with a small salad of just leaves for $30 dollars , rissotto $32 for 2 large prawns, a few strips of seafood, a couple of mini mussells with rice - very bland. Coffee was good but warm not hot and chestnut mousse seemed a bit stale. Salads at $22 plus were disappointing. Service and staff as usual were great. Has kitchen staffing changed.? Perhaps drink only until something changes. Not surprised that eating out has taken a hit in general.
