We attended my nieces wedding a couple of weeks ago, everything was incredible! The venue, the picturesque setting, the rooms…. all are five star. The wedding meal was a choice of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding or lamb shank. Catering for 70-80 people the food was faultless and maybe the best wedding food I’ve ever had. The whole team really friendly and couldn’t do enough throughout the day. Yesterday we went back for Sunday lunch just to check it wasn’t a one off and again came away singing their praises. The quality, the quantity and the service is excellent!

I've had the pleasure of shooting at Healing Manor Hotel recently, as a documentary wedding photographer, I’m always looking for venues that offer great natural light, character, and charm—and this place has it all. The rooms are bright and airy, perfect for capturing those natural, candid moments. From intimate ceremonies to full-day celebrations, the setting is always picture-perfect. I know all the best spots for photos here, so couples can relax and enjoy their day knowing we’ll get stunning images. The staff at Healing Manor Hotel are consistently amazing—professional, welcoming, and always happy to help. It’s a real pleasure to work alongside a team that genuinely cares about making every wedding special. If you are considering a wedding here I'd love to capture your special day - LHT Photography

Set in nice quiet grounds, we just went for a meal there in the bar called the Pig and whistle. It was a bit pricey as we expected but the food was good and decent size portions on the meals but not so on the sweets. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was dog friendly. We would go again but not regularly.
