I visited The Crown on Saturday with a friend and had a great time. It had a lively, young vibe with a sporty feel — there were pool tables and plenty going on. The bar staff were really friendly and took the time to chat, which I really appreciated as I was working in the area and didn’t know the place. A great spot if you’re looking for a fun, welcoming atmosphere!
Had a great weekend stay here May 25. Room was very good value. Clean and bright with good water pressure in the shower. The pub itself was lively and popular and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Large outside space to the rear. The Crown is very conveniently located for the railway station and town. Emsworth is a beautiful little town with great walks and a large variety of food and drink options.
Staff were friendly and nice. Food was OK. Steak wasn't cooked medium rare as I asked. Paid £200 for a tiny room that was really hot with a ridiculous winter quilt on. Fixtures missing bits. Average. Definitely not £200 for 1 night. Rip off. Next time I'll sleep on a bench outside thanks. 😂
