Heathcote Inn

Stayed Saturday 10/05/25. The BMW Victoria Motorcycle Club had its 50th Anniversary rally in Heathcote and the Anniversary dinner at the RSL. Tina from the Inn was very helpful and hospitable. She invited us bikers there, to keep our bikes undercover in the pool area overnight. The rooms are very clean and well appointed and its a very friendly place and vibe.

We stayed only 1 night at this lovely accommodation, which we were lucky to find shortly before the Heathcote wine and food festival. Our room was spacious, clean, well equipped, quiet and super cheap for what is typically an accommodation price gouging weekend. Tina was kind enough to let us and others who arrived around the same time check in early as our rooms were ready, so we were able to leave our things and take a short walk to the showgrounds for the festival. Overall great stay.

I want to take a moment to thank Tina, the person in charge at Heathcote Inn, for her outstanding customer service. We had a group booking for the long weekend. After we booked our accommodation, she gave us a courtesy call to inform us that their kitchen and restaurant would be closed during our stay. She kindly offered us the option to cancel if needed, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, this caused a significant inconvenience as we prefer to dine at on-site restaurants when we travel, rather than relying on fast food or delivery services. This meant we had to find alternative accommodation, which wasn’t ideal. I told Tina I’d get back to her in a few days after checking with the rest of my group and sorting new arrangements. When I did, she made the process easy—no hassle, no issues, just great service. I initially thought it might be a problem since it took me a few days to confirm, but she was understanding and helpful throughout. Tina is fantastic to deal with, and her customer-first approach deserves recognition. Five stars for her excellent service, but four stars overall due to the inconvenience of having to find new accommodation in the area after learning the restaurant, kitchen, and possibly the bar would be closed during our stay.
