Heatherlie Cottages Halls Gap

Tidy little cottage, came with everything we needed for a long weekend away! King bed was comfortable with super soft sheets that I need to find and buy! Check in was easy with a message and all details being sent the day before! Great location just out of town out of the business but walking location or a short drive to everything we needed!

This was such a fantastic place to stay. The cottage was cozy and the fireplace was great. The spa was perfect and the bed and chairs were just the right size. My partner (who booked the room) and I felt very comfortable and accommodated for. I cannot leave a review without mentioning the paintings and pictures decorating the cottage. They were all very beautiful and I have included a (poorly taken) photo of our favourite. Thank you for the care gone into the creation of this lovely homely venue. Could I suggest a communal outdoor fire pit? I know it is hard with insurance. If you are reading reviews to decide whether to stay here, definitely do, and enjoy your time in this magical part of the world. Please pick up your rubbish and encourage others to do so.

We stayed in cottage 3. We booked directly through the cottage website. Communication with the manager was very good and he was very helpful. It is a large studio style cottage. It is well furnished including a king-size bed. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped including a full size fridge. The bathroom is a good size with 2 hand basins. The shower is large and there is plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the spa bath after a day of hiking in the Grampians. The aircon and wifi are good. The washing machine is not simple to use - there is no manual and very limited instructions but we eventually managed to get it to complete a wash and spin cycle. There is no clothes line. The location is quiet but not far from the centre of Halls Gap. We did enjoy our stay.
