Heavenly Escape

The place was wonderful and the views were awesome. Two things made the trip not so great was the roaches, they were in both kitchens and bathrooms and it really need a deep cleaning, not a superficial one! But I will be ready to visit again soon

Cabin was in a great location. It had plenty of parking for a long trailer and 8 cars with room for a corn hole set up as well as a fire pit we came in with. It housed 34 of us comfortably. The arcade was a great add for the kids in our party and even us adults. The cabin itself is in major need of maintenance. The hot tub was unusable most of our 7 day stay and pool was cold. We called for service and it took 3 days for someone to come! The ovens did not heat up properly, the gas grill did not work (service worker finally came day 6 of our stay for that to be fixed) the fridge and freezers were missing more then half the shelves so we had to live out of coolers and had to keep buying ice. AC did not work properly, 2 days after call out was made service worker finally showed up, however we had to cancel the days plans to accommodate his arrival of an all day wait time. Part had to be ordered, so unit went unusable. Next evening another service guy showed up at 8pm and worked till after midnight with an outcome of the cabin requiring new units leaving us still with no air for the remainder of our stay. Lots of lightbulbs out upon arrival. One of the showers on the upper floor leaked to main floor. Upon arrival we noticed a septic pipe damaged to the cabin next to us which was just below our outside patio. We called and they sent a pump service out. Nothing was done thereafter during our time there, which led to the patio not being able to be enjoyed due to the smell that lingered in that area because of. Management never responded to all my complaints, after several attempts trying to reach them. We did make the best of our stay considering all that took place, however I will not plan on staying at this location again or book with TimberTop Cabin Rentals for our next trip.
