Comfortable place to stay in Edinburgh. We found it was conveniently located for all the places we visited, but does take some walking. Note that they offer different flavors of what they call the family room, either as one larger room and as two smaller separate rooms. You might want to ensure in advance that you are getting the option you want.

Great location and luckily, they had a parking spot available for our rental car. Had to pay a lot for that. Room was nice withe the separate bed and living space. But very hard matress!

How can you rent out a room to a family with small children that is completely unfit for sleeping? Right outside the window is an extremely bright streetlight that makes the room as bright as if the lights were on inside. There are no blinds, no curtains—nothing. It’s unacceptable. In the middle of the night, with overtired children, we ended up dragging the mattress into the hallway as the only possible solution. We all woke up with pain all over our bodies. Also: • It’s really loud—our child woke up crying because of ambulances and street noise. The windows are poorly insulated. Again: why not give families with small kids a room facing the courtyard, if available? • No chairs for the dining table (only two, which isn’t enough). • Several hairs were found in the bathroom. • The mattress is quite hard (already uncomfortable on the bed—on the floor even worse). The lobby was nice and the check-in friendly. The apartment style is also nice. But this experience so far is a disaster. See photos—the issues are clearly visible. We will adjust our review depending on whether we receive proper support for the remaining 2 nights
