Helios Cave Hotel

Our stay at Helios Cave Hotel was truly unforgettable. The unique cave-style rooms were cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering an authentic Cappadocian experience. But what really made our visit special was the incredible hospitality we received. Bilal, the owner, was incredibly helpful and kind. He personally guided me and my friend in booking our hot air balloon tickets — an absolute must-do in Cappadocia — and gave us great recommendations for exploring the village and surrounding areas. His local insights and genuine care made us feel at home and helped us make the most of our trip. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the region. We’ll definitely be back!

So happy with our choice. Clean rooms, a lot bigger than expected. Calm area. Breakfast is good. Staff is helpful and kind. Would reserve here again for our next trip. You should be aware that the hotel is next to a mosque. The call of prayer will wake you up for sure at sunrise. It was not a big deal for us, but maybe not for you in you intend to sleep-in.

I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, what you see in the photos doesn’t reflect reality! The hotel is in terrible condition — the rooms smell damp, and the service is 0 out of 10. When we arrived, no one greeted us. We stood under the sun for an hour waiting for the manager to show up and open the doors — all after a very exhausting journey. When the doors were finally opened, we saw that the rooms were completely unprepared, and they started cleaning and getting them ready right in front of us. Breakfasts were included in the booking, but they were never served on time throughout our stay — and on the first day, they completely forgot about it. If you have the option, find another place to stay, do it. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel!
