Visited the spa. We really enjoyed our day. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with fantastic views. Plenty of parking. Staff were attentive. The spa is peaceful, and everything you need. We had the afternoon tea, which was lovely, and staff went the extra mile to find oat milk. There is also a walk around the hotel grounds along a bridal path. Maps at reception. We hope to come again soon x
We just went here for a family meal about 15 of us including kids. We went bowling and had lunch. I used to play golf here but had it been in the hotel. Overall we were super impressed. Staff were excellent, friendly and keen to ensure we had a nice time. Food was great too and with good flavours and decent portion sizes. Bowling was an excellent addition too. Hotel was clean and tidy. Overall very pleased!
Basically a nice hotel but needs a few jobs done to keeo up a good standard. Our room needs the paint work touched up because of many marks on the wall around light switches etc. Niether of the lifts were working, the receptionist said they had only just broken down (both at the same time ??) but a customer told me they weren't working the week before either ! Views are lovely and our meals were very tasty.
