Helnan Marselis Hotel

Melina & Jose were absolutely amazing. I told him it was my birthday and they upgraded my room. They were so awesome and had so much hospitality my whole day. I enjoyed it so much. They were extremely helpful and help me with everything I needed during stay. I 100% recommend staying there

The room was exactly as you'd want, spacious enough for all my belongings yet felt 'cosy' at night. Had body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer and a in room safe. Any interaction with staff was pleasant and polite. The facilities were great, small 'gym' with a great view, which was a nice surprise. 1.3m deep swimming pool with beds indoors and outside, a small sauna (we fit 6 men inside) and a steam room. There was easy (but steps) access to the sandy and stoney beach. Breakfast was lovely, continental, some cooked options, pastries, coffee and juice. Plenty of space in the hotel lobby ( that we took over a bit sorry!) for a chat and a drink. The little added extra were nice, a brush for your shoes after the beach, blankets by the outdoor seating if needed. Bar was a bit pricey and we didn't eat in the restaurant for a meal so cannot comment, but it was expected. Location was great, 5 min walk for a 10/15 minutes bus journey into town and the train station. A delightful stay, would visit again.

All rooms have a wonderful, beautiful sea view. The hotel is next to the beach and there is direct access to the sea from inside the hotel. An indoor pool and jacuzzi are other facilities. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and had a good variety. The only obvious drawback is the lack of a refrigerator and an electric kettle for tea and coffee.
