Helnan Phønix Hotel

We were staying with a group of friends for Aalborg Karneval and had booked this hotel due to its ideal location and a local recommendation. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming, even when we all arrived back late at night. The rooms are well presented, a little dated in places, but beds were good, bathroom a good size. We had a walk in shower. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom and toiletries included. There was a breakfast included, with a good selection of cold meats, bread and yogurts etc. The coffee machine worked well and an automated juice machine. There was complimentary water, tea and coffee available at reception. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're after a great location, at a good price with friendly staff. Thank you 🙌

An old hotel in a decent location. Rooms feel old, but not run down. Clean and big enough. The shower is small and the shower curtain is an interesting thing for a four star hotel. The lift gives the place a feel like from after the war. Brekky buffet is okay.

Not recommended hotel. Way much too expensive especially for direct bookings at the front desk and a possibility of getting a tiny room assigned at different prices as agreed . The staff act not professional and the breakfast room is packaged with people. The breakfast is also average with not much selection. There are much better hotels at this area.
