A peaceful place, great sauna facilities, very clean. We enjoyed food either from the menu (pics are added) or breakfast.

This was a wonderful spa resort. Basically, it's a 19th-century manor house converted into a spa resort. The grounds are extensive and beautiful on the banks of a large lake. The hotel provides lots of places to relax as well as boats and bikes to hire. There are a few things that need improving to give it the ultimate wow factor. We will come to these in a bit, but first here are all the positives... PROS: 1. Beautiful decor and large deluxe twin room with balcony 2. Excellent spa facilities and swimming pool 3. Extensive range of activities available to book, including the unique opportunity to walk alpacas around the ground. There is even special alpacha squad merchandise available to buy 4. Fresh herbs are grown in the gardens and used in the kitchen. They even provided us with a free pack of seeds to take home and plant later 5. Room service available between 10pm and 6am every day. We opted for the 80pln meat and cheese platter, and it was huge 6. All the buildings are interconnected by underground tunnels, which is great during the cold winter months 7. There is even a pillow menu in the room to choose more of a variety of pillows. 8. The staff were very friendly, also gave us warm greetings and the waiter in the restaurant was extremely friendly and professional. He also made some great cocktails in the bar. 9. A very tasty and extensive breakfast; one of the best I've had in Poland. CONS: 1. The restaurant was very disappointing for the price. We paid almost 500pln and the quality of food was nothing special. Also, there was no mention of allergies, and my partner suffered an allergic reaction to the tomato salad as there was sunflower seed in the ingredients, and this had not been mentioned in the menu. The waiter also forgot to serve us a beer that we had ordered. He did make up for this by providing us a free round of cocktails later, which was commendable and really good of him. 2. Our extra sofa bed was not made in the room, and there was no mention at check-in that we had to ask by a certain time for it to be made. When we did eventually ask for it to be made it was too late so had to make it ourself which is fine but not when you consider the fact that we had to pay an extra 300pln for this privilege. 3. The beach bar closed very early at 5.30pm everyday and it was often unmanned, which meant we had to call the reception a few times and ask them to send the waitress down. 4. The main bar closed very early at 10pm, and the terrace and grounds were not lit at night, which meant it was very dark. Would have been much better to have extended the bar time to at least 11pm or midnight and have some lighting in the grounds. 5. For a hotel of this standard, it was rather tacky having Pepsi branded umbrellas So, as you can see, it was a really good experience, and we would love to return, but it does need to improve a few things to make it a truly outstanding hotel.
