What a peacefull and uterly beautifull place. Well managed by Sergio, and nice and helpfull staff members, always ready to attend your requests. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, and the surroundings are quite spectacular. The sunrise in your rooms make it so romantic. The view is too much to describe. The suspendend jakuzzi, the steam room and the pool complete an amazing hotel stay that I will always cherish and most likely come back even tough I am not one to return to places I have been, but this one left a memory and happy moments on me and my partner.

Gorgeous, serene, luxurious oasis in the middle of farmlands and woods. Most comfortable bed we slept in during our two-week honeymoon (6 hotels total!). Beautiful pool, amazing grounds, adorable resident farm animals. Great breakfast overlooking the rolling hills. We also had wonderful massages in the spa which the kind staff coordinated for us fairly last minute. We stayed in a room with a patio and hot tub, note it is a small hot tub that you fill for each use but it fit 2 people and was cute! Only downside was having to drive into the nearest town for dinner each night, about 20 min away. Just something to plan for. Thank you Herdade do Amarelo!

This is quite of a tough review for me to write. The location was absolutely amazing and the property is beautiful. However, there were a few things which spoiled the whole experience. The rooms are lovely, but there was little love being put into them. It’s quite hard to explain, but we stayed in similar places before, and there were small details which added character to the room. In addition, it seemed that there was some refurbishing being needed. Our shower, had the shower hose completely broken, and for 160 euros a night, this is something which should never happen. There was coffee in the room, but for a fee. Some places which costed 3x less than this one, offered free coffee. However, here they asked for 1 euro for crappy capsule coffee. Also for breakfast, which was amazing btw, there was only the most awful machine made instant coffee, I have ever had in my life. Also, we had the most gorgeous view of the Alentejo plains, completely spoiled by loud music, with a repertoire ranging from the God Father soundtrack to some other weird music. The name of this place has Natura in it, so should you muffle all the nature sounds with this? Finally, the jacuzzi. It was unusable. It took about 1h to fill, given that there was almost no water pressure, and when we used it, it was so loud that we felt bad for our neighbours. It was a gigantic disappointment, given that we wanted a proper SPA experience, and a proper borderline luxury experience. A few days later we stayed in a place where we paid 50 euros a night, and it felt much more luxurious and pleasant than this so called SPA. My advice is to refurbish the rooms a bit, remove the awful mini bar, offer at least free coffee, and fix the jacuzzi thing because it’s absolutely unusable. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back. Edit: Unfortunately the owner’s reply is full of inaccuracies. Instead of spending energy commenting online, please channel it into making the place a tiny bit better. 1- coffee isn’t free as anyone can see on the attached photo. Nestle or not but it was still instant coffee and quite bad. 2- music from the god father soundtrack can hardly pass as Christmas music. No Bublé or Sinatra which I would have appreciated. Also it was loud enough for me to hear it from the room. 3- sharing the dates I’ve been there for isn’t allowed according to GDPR laws. 4- there are plenty of comments on the jacuzzi here.
