Heritage Palace Varos MAG Quaint & Elegant Boutique Hotels

Great hotel, situated very close to the city center and plenty of awesome restaurant options. Nice staff and welcoming staff. The room was large and clean but somewhat outdated with (very used) furniture. The room was a bit noisy but the ac worked very well.

I stayed here for three nights. This was one of the most unique and elegant hotels I have ever stayed.  It is located in the old town, in the middle of a very quiet block. It is the heritage building, so it doesn't have a lift for your luggage. I really loved my room. The harmony of stone, wood, and fabric was so elegant, unique, romantic, and sophisticated. It was spacious also, so was the bathroom. The female staff who worked during my stay was friendly and kind. The disappointments were; The digital card key was not working, so I had to carry a traditional key with me; Sometimes there were no one at the reception although it was the daytime; The height of the lamp in the room was so low, it was very uncomfortable to read on the bed; The size of the refrigerator was too small; I could hear noise from the other room  including some embarrassing sound. Despite these, I enjoyed the stay here.

We stayed in cell block heritage for one night. This is important ROOM 006. This is across the road from the reception. First thing to hit us and it did! The most awful smell of damp. Sort of mde you heave. We checked in late so just accepted it for what it is, great location and affordable. So we simply stayed out as late as we could to minimise the time with the smell. When we did get back, it continued. Toilet seat cover feel off, no WiFi due to distance from reception and old brick building (phones too suffered) then no tv working other than audio. On the plus, lovely location, a friendly staff member checked us in and kept our bags late after checkout. However, please check what room you are getting as 006 is simply horrendous.
