This hotel is in a truly wonderful location. I love Forte dei Marmi, and the exterior of the hotel is absolutely charming. Unfortunately, the interior feels somewhat outdated: the carpets are stained, and above all, the color scheme is rather unpleasant to the eye. A positive note goes to the staff at the Hermitage, especially at the reception, Leonardo and Zaccaria, who are the only ones fluent in English and very helpful. Despite some flaws, I still recommend this hotel for its outstanding location and beautiful exterior.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Positives: • Reception: The reception staff were very nice and helpful, especially Jozefina ❤️. She truly made us feel welcome and handled issues with professionalism. • Bellmen: Sebastian, Jovane, and Christiane were very welcoming and kind, always greeting us warmly and helping with luggage. • Breakfast service: The breakfast waiters were attentive and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. • Checkout: The checkout process was smooth, and although there were several charges we hadn’t ordered, the receptionist apologized and removed them immediately. Negatives: • Housekeeping: The cleanliness was disappointing. My arranged shoes were taken from the floor and randomly put into my luggage bag, the robe was hung over my little girl’s wet clothes in the bathroom, and under the bed was not clean. • Breakfast options: The buffet only had two types of eggs, and any additional cooking style (like omelette or sunny side up) came with an extra charge, which felt unusual for a hotel breakfast. • Shuttle service: The shuttle was out of service several times during our stay, causing inconvenience. • Room condition: Our room toilet (Room 109) had a persistent bad smell. We complained several times, but nothing was done to fix it. Overall: The front desk team, especially Jozefina, along with the welcoming bellmen Sebastian, Jovane, and Christiane, made a great impression. However, the housekeeping standards, limited breakfast choices, repeated shuttle issues, and unresolved maintenance problems made the stay less enjoyable than expected. I was told that the management will be changed from Augustus to star-hotel group ! Hope it make a positive impact
This hotel is Like Hospize for old People,.good 2 Star Hotel.. pictures are not presenting reality. Forte Marmi is fantastic, their beach club and manager is terrible. Complete over prized! Much better place to find …besides location, quality of food disappointing. Service and flexibility of staff is limited. Clear Italian
