It’s difficult to put into words what the Hermitage Hotel & Spa in Cervinia means to our family. For over 25 years, this incredible hotel has been our sanctuary, our tradition, and our happy place. Year after year, we return—not just for the breathtaking beauty of Cervinia or the luxurious charm of the hotel itself—but because of the people who make it feel like home. From the moment we arrive, we’re welcomed like family. Simone, Luca, Michaela, Thomas, and so many other wonderful members of the Hermitage team go above and beyond to care for us—always anticipating our needs before we’ve even thought of them. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness never cease to amaze us. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels so personal, so effortless, and so full of heart. Traveling with a large family isn’t always easy, but at the Hermitage, we’re always made to feel comfortable, cared for, and completely at peace. Whether it’s the stunning rooms, the flawless service, the incredible spa, or the delicious cuisine, every element is touched with thoughtfulness and love. This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s a part of our family’s story. Some of our most precious memories have been made here, and we truly can’t imagine a year without it. A total gem!! We were on a road trip and only wished we stayed here more nights than one. It is such a charming hotel and the staff was fabulous. They were friendly and helpful and made great recommendations for what we should do during our short stay. The setting and views were amazing. The breakfast and service were great. Such a beautiful town and well worth it. In hindsight we wished we stayed here longer and had passed on Chamonix. One of our favorite stops of our trip. Highly recommend.

The hotel is really exceptional. It has an old fashion charm, which is very positive. And giant elegance. Staff is extremely helpful, kind, professional and try to fulfil all your needs. In the lobby you feel like at home. Fireplace with nearby bar are beautiful, very elegant and just invite you to have a rest after skiing. We had a classic room with the view of the Matterhorn. I know that there are rooms that are already refurbished, unlike ours, but still the room (although not too big) is very cosy, nice, clean. Food is fabulous. Sumptuos breakfasts and fantastic dinners. Every day there are new chef suggestions based on local cuisine. Additionally there is a grill with variety of meats and fish. If it is not enough, there is an additional list of many delicious dishes to choose. Fantastic desserts and wines and cheese. We travel a lot but first time we had such a great cuisine. Really 5 star! If you want something for breakfast, they will do their utmost and never tell that something is missing. Spa is not very spacious – but there is a large and clean swimming pool with Turkish bath and sauna. It is enough. A driver is at your disposal in order to drop you off or pick up from the ski lift. It takes one minute to get to the slopes. There is something magic in this hotel. You started to admire the place from the entrance. Really worth!!!
