Amazing 8-day stay at the Hermitage in Ischia. Super friendly and helpful staff, spotless rooms and pools, and a great spa with top-quality treatments. Breakfast was rich and varied, and dinner was truly exceptional — more like a fine restaurant than a hotel. The shuttle to the beach made everything even easier. I’ll definitely recommend it to my family and closest friends!

Not as expected. Family room not as expected with a sofa bed instead of two queen beds. They are clean but outdated. Internet connection is horrible. Does not work for 90% of the time. Only works at the reception. Facility condition is average. No kettle or tea at the room. Very expensive for what you get. A/C is barely working in July. 👎 the main good thing is the breakfast. Amazing breakfast. Spa is good. Experience could have been better.

We received a room with view towards the parking lot with a loud A/C. This was not our previous experience with 4* hotels. We did however manage to get it upgraded free of charge. It was still, however, a labyrinth to get there (down 5 stairs and up 2 from the reception), getting the feeling of being locked away. The fitness was non-existent and has been since 2020. The breakfast was 90% sweet, which seemed typical in italy. However, the 10% savoury (typical i the north, for example) was sub-average. The bacon was plastic-like, the scrambled eggs were a soup, but their sunny-side-up eggs were decent. Lastly, there are a ton of hidden fees. We had expected to pay about €30-50 post stay from drinks and towels but ended up paying €131,50. There is a hidden daily fee of €3 per person for up to 7 days on top of what you have paid for the stay. Theremore, the prices in the bar were slightly tampered with, us having to pay €10 for €9 drinks (it adds up). Lastly, the mini-fridge has 2 bottles of water which are resupplied daily, each costing €2,50 although no prices are disclosed anywhere, allowing us to assume they were complementary.
