Herodion Hotel

This hotel is in a wonderful location for visiting the Acropolis & the slopes, the modern Acropolis Museum & many other sites. The bustle & excitement of Plaka is very near & if you want to go further, maybe to Piraeus, the Metro is handy. The hotel has fantastic views of the Acropolis and an outstanding rooftop bar and terrace. The rooms are comfortable, very clean with everything you would expect. The real stand-out however was the staff. From the moment I contacted them to make the booking, until we left, everyone was warm, friendly and helpful. If we were eating, staff were attentive without being overbearing, if I wanted something or some information I got it and often some helpful tips or advice too.

The perfect location. Steps from the acropolis museum, short walking distance to the acropolis itself and the metro, with lots of good places to eat nearby. Service is very pleasant and the breakfast has plenty of options. Our room was a little on the small side for three people but not a problem since we didn’t spend much time there. Otherwise it was very comfortable and quiet. I heartily recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel offers beautifully styled rooms that are sparkling clean. Everything I saw in the hotel is very well maintained and in elegant taste. The lounge, restaurant and rooftop garden are gorgeous. Having an issue with heat in general I have to say that it’s the fist hotel I have ever checked in (during a heat wave mind you) that felt so cool I had to turn down the A/C. Bed and pillow comfort were excellent. Breakfast offered had an extensive selection that covers all tastes and requirements. The location is prime. We recommend staying here and will be back for sure.
