Lovely location. Nice terrace with view of the canal and ferry. Excellent restaurant and food. Chef is 👌. Room a little dated esp bathroom but acceptable and clean. No reception so check in via restaurant. Staff very nice and helpful 👍

We had a wonderful 3 course meal here while on a short holiday in the area. The food exceeded my expectations in taste and presentation, and the service was extremely friendly. The waiter, despite speaking perfect English (and German), even agreed to speak in slow, simplified Dutch to help us practice which really added to the night. All in all a lovely memory for myself and my wife. We actually walked to and from the restaurant from Arcen, taking the route along the Maas and finally the river ferry to Broekhuizen; it's not only doable, it's a really picturesque little trek. Might be useful information for somebody in the future, I don't know.

Terrible service and food of the restaurant. Too high prices for such low quality. All dead stinky mussels in the big dish that they served at table while we had to pay a lot of that specialty, too tough beef to chew in de maaltijd-salade. Not worth it at all. Not recommended unless they take the advices from clients/guests seriously to improve it all.
