Heythrop Park Resort

Lovely location. More than one restaurant to choose from which you don't get at all Warner hotels and the food was very nice. The Manor House is a stunning old building. The Spa was very good with a great sized swimming pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub. Treatments are reasonably priced and worth having. Enjoyed our short break here.

I stayed here this weekend and thought it was lovely there. The building is magnificent. Architecture brilliant. The room was great big walkin shower. Clean. Spacious. Aircon. Everything you need. The entertainment was fantastic really enjoyed it. Lovely grounds. We eat in the Brassiere 32 for breakfast and first night. Lovely food. 2 evening meals in the Market Kitchen which was ok but needs improvement on the menu and of the cooking and presentation. Buffet was ok but roast chicken look bland and was pieces not whole chicken roasted. So didn't like the look of it too pale. Everything else ok. But cooked food needs a little more attention in the Market Kitchen.

The grounds of this resort are amazing, the staff are lovely but evidently there’s not enough of them and therefore service wasn’t great. Food was so so in the buffet restaurant and we had a half hour wait for Breakfast in the morning despite being given a time for our table. We couldn't book any activities as there was no availability which was quite disappointing. The entertainment was good- great singer and silent disco was good fun. All In all we had a lovely time but wouldn’t return due to poor service, disgruntled staff and lack of availability of activities.
