Downstairs room opened into garden with a small table and chairs just outside the room to enjoy the sunshine. Restaurant is beautiful with a lovely tranquil feel and food was very good. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Didn't get time to visit the pool and spa as we decided to go into Tenby which is a short drive away or approximately 20-30 min walk. Made the most of the weather and had a good paddle in the sea on castle beach.
I have to say the food at this hotel is the best I’ve had in a very long time. In fact I can’t actually remember having a better meal. Whoever the chef is, they are superb. We were only able to stay for two nights on a trip from Australia and I could easily have stayed longer to try more of the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere. The spa facilities were excellent especially the hot tub and sauna. The only minor thing I would like would have been a small bar fridge in our room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back again and can’t recommend this hotel enough. When the receptionist tells you the restaurant is excellent when you check in, believe her.
Our 2-night stay was so chilled and relaxing. A very modern and smart hotel - the atmosphere is very calming and quiet, perfect if you need to recharge your batteries after a busy day. The staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Additionally the room was very nice, well presented and clean. The bed was so comfy and the air conditioning was a life saver as it had been humid during our stay during the summer holidays. The spa facilities are rather small and the pool area could do with a little refurbish/modernising, however general atmosphere was tranquil. My treatment was amazing and the masseuse was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the sort of treatment that I needed. The only areas that could be improved upon were the very creaky floorboards and dated bathroom facilities within the room. We were conscious of disturbing other guests whilst walking around and the bathroom could use a little TLC. Minor issues from an otherwise lovely few nights away at Heywood :)
