My wife and I had an amazing night at this little gem. Cozy bed and fireplace were awesome. Great location in the valley tucked away from the main road. Delicious pastry and coffee in the morning and front desk staff was so kind and helpful. We will be back!
Note: I have no connection to this place and I was not paid or given any special service for this review. This place surprised me with how nice it is. The price was incredibly good. I wanted to get away for the night and do some work away from the stress of the silicon valley. Everything is 500 or 600 bucks a night. I like bernardus but it's gone through the roof cost wise, and I'm on a budget. So I gave this place a whirl, and I'm thoroughly impressed. From the quietness of the location away from the main road and the beautiful view, The place has a lot of charm and has been recently remodeled and is well done. I mean there's some old stuff Left behind that needs work but I'm not going to pick apart something that has so much going for it. I'm going to come back to this place. But I think the price is going to go up because this place is going to get popular. It's a hidden gem and it's a hidden valley gem 😉. The pastries in the morning were awesome. Coffee's always flowing and good. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly. and the housekeeping crew keeps everything spic and span. I have nothing to complain about. And Carmel valley is just the most peaceful and amazing place. It's probably my favorite place and this place takes advantage of the atmosphere and beauty of Carmel valley and accentuates it at a very good price, so I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I hope to come back to this place. It's probably about 11 mi inland from the coast. Great atmosphere. Great surroundings. Very quiet. Small place has pet friendly rooms on one end of the resort. Had a few issues with the air conditioning and heating and our room lacked a microwave and a refrigerator but other than that everything was good and the pastries were from Paris bakery and very good
