High Beach White

My husband and I hoped for a sunny and comfortable vacation at a pleasant get-away, and that is exactly what we got. Room: The room was lovely, meticulously cleaned every day, and offered a lovely view of the cretan mountains above the city. Service: The staff is amazing. The service, their effort to make our stay comfortable, and their kindness certainly played a huge part in making this vacation perfect. The regular entertainment the hotel provided filled the evenings with pleasant music. We always felt that everyone went the extra mile for their guests. Location: The location by the beach and the closeness to the main streets of Malia let us enjoy both the ocean and the city. Despite the busy beachfront, the hotel and surrounding areas never felt crowded, and there was opportunities both to socialize and enjoy solitude. Summary: We strongly recommend High Beach White and High Beach Resort for anyone wanting to enjoy Crete with great hospitality and comfort. Whether you travel solo, with family, or as a couple, this hotel strives to make every guests stay a good one.

High Beach White for adults only is absolutely amazing place. Malia as a city is not really nice. However, the hotel on its own takes you away from the busy streets. Therefore, you do not care what is behind the hotel if you do not go there. The room was beautiful, always clean, with stunning view of the sea. The private pool was amazing as nobody else than those who lived in the High Beach White villas could use it. At the beach we had deckchairs and parasol reserved for the whole vacation, therefore, we never worried if we could lay down by the sea. Marianna and Giorgos at the Sunset bar made our evening always so much more enjoyable. Mario at the beach and pool was just our guy! The absolute best as he always made sure we had a drink in our hand. Emanuel at the Elia Restaurant also always took a great care of us. All the stuff and managers are friendly and helpful whenever you need something. We will definitely come back here! Thank you guys!

Malia as such is not a nice place to stay.. One place right next to the other, cheap restaurants and bars and probably heaven if you are looking for lots if people and party. We didn't do good research here obviously but the pictures of the hotel and its description where also misleading: the place is new maybe but it is tiny and surrounded by lots of other facilities like a pleasure beach bar and the sister properties of the same owner. That means you do breakfast with the bigger place and it's awful. Fake juice, no one wore a mask or cared about distance.. Also the food in the evening was very very low quality wise. Sorry it def not worth the money and it's cheating the customer. We left after 1 night. What was amazing was the hospitality sense if the staff we met. The lady from front office was understanding and helpful in all means and tried a lot to make us happy. Also the restaurant chef was super nice and a real host. These two in any other place would be a delight.
