We have stayed at the Hi-Tide in June when school is out every year for the past 5 or more years. We stay in an ocean-front room with 2 queens which works for me, my daughter, and 2 grandchildren. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the view from the balcony can't be beat. The location is great. We're right on the Prom, a few blocks from Broadway with a path to the beach. The kids love the pool, so the rainy spell we had didn't bother us. Staff are friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
I stayed here for 4 nights in August 2025. Very happy and will be back. Convenient location - 5 minute walk to either the water or main street. Still far enough away that people aren't all around. The most convenient thing about the location that I want to mention is the hotel advertises that some rooms are in a different building across the street. The street is a tiny residential street, not a big main street at all. You can freely walk back and forth without it taking a lot of time or dodging traffic. Pool was clean and being indoors comes in handy for the rain that inevitably comes in the PNW. Hot tub is heavenly. Breakfast is bread + bag la, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, juices and milk. Housekeeping does a superb job. Front desk staff is friendly and warm. All in all, great little spot to stay and very reasonable rates. My doggie liked the room too!
First of all, the staff were AMAZING. From checking in, to the little things, they were on top of things. We had our two dogs with us (they provided an in room water bowl and treats for them!), 3 teenagers, and they were truly kind and patient. The room was meh. No a/c-the room was stuffy and humid. We utilized the box fan and opened the sliding door, which helped for the time being. There are in room dishes and utensils (not paper/plastic), coffee pot, stove, fridge, microwave, and a toaster. Key cards would stop working-and yes, at least two were placed with cell phones, but the other one was not. Then my kids got another key card, it stopped working after 4/5 swipes. Not the end of the world but mildly infuriating. The cookies in the office were good. Breakfast was fine. Pool looked questionable. Parking pass is required to use their parking lot which was nice!
