Higher Faugan

Dear Doug, thank you very much for your warm hospitality. We enjoyed the quiet in the countryside, the quality of the rooms and the fine breakfast. Higher Faugan Parc is perfect to relax and nearby located to Newlyn/Penzance - so for us very good reachable by bus and a central starting point for side trips in south western Cornwall. We spent a night here and it was the best nights sleep we have ever had. This place is pure luxury and we were very surprised as it was very cheap. We were greeted by a nice,friendly gentleman who told us he had upgraded us for free and showed us our room. He gave us lots of information about the local area and places to eat. The guest house was very quiet and peaceful being set off the main road down its own private driveway. The grounds and hotel were immaculately kept and there was parking right outside. You are given a key to the front door so you can come and go as you please which is nice 😊 Overall I couldn't fault this place at all and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful retreat, great rooms, great view, very neat and clean, very friendly service by the owner. There is no breakfast served, however the food is offered in the small kitchen. Great place to stay more than one day. The best choice on our trip troughout Cornwall:-)
