Highland Gate Stirling by Marston's Inns

Great location for visiting Stirling as it is a short walk to the Park and Ride. Friendly staff were attentive and the pub was attractive. Rooms across the car park so not attached to the pub, noise kept at a minimum. Will stay again!

We didn't eat any food here, just stayed in the hotel that's part of the complex. I don't like to leave bad reviews. But the room was in need of maintenance when we arrived. There were popped drywall nails with missing drywall in the wall next to the bathroom. The toilet seat was half broken, sliding around when lifting & closing it. The tub was a ridiculously tall height & slippery when stepping in. But the location was good and the room felt very clean.

Room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the aircon was broken… I understand that this just happens, but no fans offered or anything. In the morning the fryer was broken and so very limited options for breakfast but still charged full price. Bed was not very comfortable either, and the walls are very thin and all the doors slam closed. For the price, you get a clean room in a convenient location right off the highway.
